Hold a current motorcycle license valid for motorcycles in excess of 250cc. This must be produced at time of hire of the motorcycle. Riders must have a minimum of 2 years riding experience. Provide your own riding gear i.e. helmet, wet weather gear, boots, gloves and warm clothing. If you are not able to provide riding gear this can be hired for the duration of the tour at an additional cost and prior notice would be required. Your motorcycle will be equipped with a pack suitable for carrying your daily requirements as all major luggage will be transported in the support vehicle. Tours can be booked by phone, mail, fax or E mail and must be supported by a tour application and 10% deposit within ten days of booking. If for any reason MTNZ cannot accept your application your deposit will be promptly refunded. Full payment for the tour must be received by the specified date (approximately six weeks prior to tour) Deposits and final payment can be made by credit card, bank cheque, money order, or telegraphic transfer. All prices quoted are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax and are in New Zealand Dollars. All motorcycles will require a $1000.00 NZ security bond which will be refunded on completion of your tour provided the motorcycle is in an undamaged condition. Cancellations, refunds and terms and conditions will be supplied with your tour application. |
